About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and certified Network Engineer with deep expertise in Cisco wireless, routing, and switching to join our growing infrastructure team. This is a hybrid role based in Lahore, ideal for professionals who thrive in both collaborative onsite environments and focused remote work settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage Cisco-based enterprise wireless, routing, and switching solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex Layer 2/3 network issues.
  • Maintain and monitor network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT operations and infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct site assessments and support hardware installations when onsite.
  • Create and maintain network documentation, including topology diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with best practices and company policies for network security and performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
  • Strong command over protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, and wireless LAN controllers (WLC).
  • Solid experience in configuring and managing Cisco switches (Catalyst series) and routers (ISR/ASR).
  • Practical experience with Cisco wireless infrastructure (APs, WLCs, site surveys).
  • Knowledge of network monitoring tools and best practices.
  • CCNP (or higher) certification preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Cisco DNA Center or Meraki is a plus.
  • Familiarity with network automation or scripting (Python, Ansible) is a bonus.
