Job Brief

Job Brief: We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Team Lead to oversee automation across Mobile Apps (iOS/Android) and Backend APIs, including CI/CD pipelines. The role requires both strong technical expertise and leadership to guide the automation team, conduct code reviews, ensure high-quality deliverables, and support timely releases for a large-scale ride-hailing platform with millions of users across KSA and Jordan.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Mobile Apps Automation (Android/iOS) and Backend API Automation efforts end-to-end.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for mobile and backend services.
  • Drive automation strategy and roadmap aligned with product release cycles.
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous quality validation.
  • Perform code reviews for automation engineers, ensuring best practices and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps to ensure smooth build and deployment workflows.
  • Track, analyze, and report automation coverage, stability, and effectiveness.
  • Link automation code with the TestRail test case management tool.
  • Ensure timely delivery of automation deliverables without compromising quality.
  • Mentor and guide junior automation engineers, fostering technical growth and ownership.
  • Support defect triage, root cause analysis, and prevention measures.
