Unit Head Talent Acquisition & HR Advisory at Bank Alfalah

The incumbent will be responsible to support the implementation and delivery of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives that promote a respectful, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.

Accountabilities

Program Management and Enablement:

  • Assist in executing the organization's DEI strategy and annual action plan across all business functions.
  • Launch initiatives to improve gender diversity targets to increase the number of women in the workforce.
  • Initiate career and leadership development plans for women.
  • Support women in maintaining a work-life balance through various support programs.
  • Launch programs for women on career breaks to re-join the workforce.
  • Manage a communication channel for women to remain accessible, advise and support them.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of women exit interviews to analyse reasons behind female attrition and take measures to curb future female attrition.
  • Monitor progress on initiatives, track outcomes, and prepare regular updates and dashboards for leadership review.

Employee Engagement & Communication:

  • Design and lead an inclusive cultural calendar to recognize and celebrate key DEI observance days, festivals, and engagement and awareness milestones— ensuring communication is educational, respectful, and reflective of workforce diversity.

Data & Reporting:

  • Maintain and analyze DEI-related data including workforce representation, hiring trends, and employee experience insights.
  • Assist in preparing internal and external reports, award submissions, and audit responses related to DEI metrics.

Talent & Culture Initiatives:

  • Work on culture initiatives and projects with the Culture and DEI team.
  • Support career development initiatives for underrepresented groups, including mentorship, returnships, and learning interventions.
  • Conduct sessions focused on inclusive leadership, unconscious bias, and accessibility awareness.
  • Help update DEI-related policies and guidelines in partnership with HR teams.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Liaise with HRBPs, recruitment teams, and learning and development to ensure alignment on DEI efforts.
  • Coordinate with external partners, NGOs, or advocacy groups on collaborative programs and hiring pipelines.

Eligibility:

  • Education: Bachelors / Masters in Human Resources
  • Experience: 2 years of HR related experience
