Title: Sub-editor

Keywords: Editing, proofreading, attention to detail, spelling, redrafting, polishing written communication, etc.

Description: Seeking a sub-editor to review, refine and edit content precisely. You'll ensure clarity, accuracy and consistency across all materials while maintaining company standards. Strong editing, proofreading and communication skills are essential, along with a keen eye for grammar, spelling and formatting

Timings: 4 pm to 12:30 am

Tasks:

  • Proofread and edit sales messages, emails and other business content for grammar, punctuation and writing style according to the company's house rules
  • Revise content to align with the company house rules or guidelines and meet the desired outcomes
  • Enhance clarity, coherence and accuracy, including integrating last-minute updates or content additions
  • Collaborate with sales representatives, team leads, account managers and other employees to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality messages, emails or content
  • Checking information thoroughly, ensuring all the sales messages and emails are properly written according to the required project details, strategies and company house rules
  • Editing the sales content or messages on different platforms like LinkedIn, WhatsApp, emails, etc.
  • Maintain consistency in tone, voice and style across all content platforms
  • Identify potential legal or ethical issues and escalate when necessary
  • Work effectively under tight deadlines without compromising written communication quality

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a content writer, subeditor, etc.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Communications or a related field
  • Stellar communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Strong time management: ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines/priorities
  • Excellent computer skills, knowledge of CRM tools, Appollo, Hubspot, Klenty, etc
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
