Job Description

Position Title: Senior WordPress Developer

Timings: 4:00pm - 1:00am

Department: Software Engineering

Position Purpose:

Education & Professional Qualification:

  • Degree(s)/Major(s): Bachelors or equivalent degree from a reputed educational Institute, preferably in computer programming, computer science, or a related field.
  • Certification(s): Not mandatory, but certification in a relevant field is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience with WordPress related technologies – mostly as part of a development team.
  • Experience with responsive and adaptive design.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing new features, functionality and managing websites using WordPress.
  • Establishing and guiding the website's architecture.
  • Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
  • Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
  • Collaborate with members of a creative team.
  • Manage front-end and back-end website development.
  • Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferable code.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website problems for clients and co-workers.
  • Stay abreast of new developments in software, trends, and practices.

  • Strong understanding of front-end and back-end website development.
  • Keen attention to detail, good planner and able to assess own performance.
  • Be able to think clearly and analytically.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
