Location: Rakh Canal Plant, Faisalabad

Reports to: Manager Maintenance, RCP

Direct Reports: approximately 80

As Principal Engineer, Maintenance, you will oversee planning, monitoring, and controlling operations, maintenance, project functions, resources, and staff with expertise in an effective and efficient manner.

1. Operation & Maintenance: Expertise in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil, and utility systems including compressors, cooling towers, pumps, gears, conveyors, sifters, dryers, elevators, mills, centrifuges, fans, motors, switchgears, generators, grid stations, and PLC/DCS systems. Knowledge of maintenance methodologies such as Reliability Centered Maintenance, Condition-Based Maintenance, and Time-Based Maintenance.
2. Project Management: Design and modify mechanical and electrical systems to meet process requirements. Manage CAPEX projects, ensuring timely completion and effective cash flow control.
3. Inventory Management: Evaluate critical store items, manage inventory systems, and maintain updated critical machine parts lists.
4. Contractor Management: Coordinate with contractors, develop contracts, evaluate bids, and oversee billing to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
5. People Management: Lead and develop teams across disciplines, promote best practices, and foster effective interdepartmental collaboration.
6. Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and standards.
7. Continuous Improvement: Lead energy conservation and process optimization projects, including feasibility studies, procurement, and safe execution.
8. Stakeholder Management: Conduct training, build relationships, and coordinate with procurement to develop cost-effective substitutes for imported items.

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering
• Experience in petrochemical, fertilizer, process, food, or cement industries
• At least 10 years of experience in O&M of electrical and mechanical systems
• Deep knowledge of maintenance, reliability management, and team development
• Proficiency in ERP (SAP), Lean Six Sigma, MS Office, ETAB, AutoCAD, Power BI
• Understanding of international standards (EHS, IMS, GPM, ISO, Food Safety)

• Team player capable of working under pressure
• Excellent communicator, fluent in English, both written and spoken
