Overview

Senior Manager - Finance (Mashreq Global Network Pakistan)

Responsible for overseeing statutory and regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance with critical requirements that significantly impact the company. Ensure the timely closure of monthly MGN Financials, prepare the monthly financial deck, and oversee the migration to Oracle ERP while maintaining continuity of MGN Financials. Ensure strict financial discipline by adhering to the company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Validation of monthly financial statements prepared by external accountants and report to management on monthly financial performance and other related reports.
  • Ensure timely completion of all statutory compliances & include compliance with corporate taxes, sales taxes and other relevant legislation.
  • Liaise with auditors for completion of Statutory, Internal & Group audit.
  • Validate data accuracy for MGN in OFSSA, MicroStrategy & other automation tools.
  • Monitor the cash flow requirements of the company and arrange for necessary funds.
  • Participate in various committees / discussions involving financial matters.
  • Focus on regulatory, control & audit requirements.
  • Review Purchase Orders for various taxes and budget availability.
  • Provide financial analysis on an ad hoc basis if required.
  • Interact with internal employees, external partners, vendors and other related parties.
  • Assist the Management in providing all required financial information.
  • Adhere to company's policy and procedures.
  • Prioritize tasks within job function, balancing the need to meet tight deadlines and other organizational demands.
Qualifications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to articulate IT related cost and benefits.
  • Preferably worked in IT companies and familiar with style, attitude, and culture in IT companies.
  • Excellent 'people skills' with respect to ability to coordinate work between different groups.
  • Basic financial and accounting knowledge.
