Qualifications:
BS BE in Computer Science Engineering or BCIT

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer, JAVA

Technical Skills:

  1. Good knowledge of design and development on relevant technology platform.
  2. Good knowledge of SCM related processes and activities.
Key Responsibility Areas
  1. Analyzing, designing, and writing software programs according to the company needs.
  2. Interact with Application Management Group Head, Team Leads, and Architects to develop and implement detailed technical designs.
  3. Perform programming and adhere to programming standards and processes.
  4. Testing programs and fault finding.
  5. Maintaining systems by monitoring and correcting software defects.
  6. Problem solving and thinking laterally as part of a team or individually to meet needs of the assignment.
  7. Acquire new skills in various programming languages and development environments.
  8. Ensure proper communication to immediate supervisor within the project.
  9. Assist with design, coding, unit and integration testing, debugging, and documentation of programs.
  10. Guide new/junior developers with design issues identified during development and testing phases.
  11. Assist the team lead/BA in definition of business and project scope.
  12. Support and assist the Team Lead/BA in requirements definition.
  13. Assist in developing internal and external design specifications.
  14. Provide post-implementation and ongoing production support.

Candidates should have good interpersonal and communication skills. They should have a proactive approach, handle pressure and time constraints, and must be team players.
