We are a leading software development company in Karachi, Pakistan, seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer to join our team on a contract basis. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions for our clients. This position offers the potential for extension based on performance.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting software applications using Java technologies.
  2. Collaborating with project managers to gather requirements and define project scope.
  3. Participating in code reviews to ensure quality standards.
  4. Troubleshooting issues and providing resolutions.
  5. Working with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines.
  6. Continuously learning and applying new technologies.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Java Developer.
  3. Strong knowledge of Java and object-oriented design principles.
  4. Experience with frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
  5. Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX).
  6. Database design and SQL skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and in teams.
  8. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in English.
