Role Description

We are seeking an experienced part time SQA Engineer to ensure the quality of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will be proficient in manual, API, and database testing within an agile environment. You will be responsible for the entire testing lifecycle, from creating test cases to communicating with clients and ensuring a flawless user experience.

Qualifications

  • Software Quality, Quality Assurance, and Software Quality Assurance skills
  • Experience in Software Development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Relevant certifications in quality assurance or software testing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute manual test cases for web, hybrid, and native mobile applications (iOS & Android).
  • Perform comprehensive UI, functional and regression testing.
  • Conduct API testing using tools like Postman to validate backend services.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to ensure database integrity.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution in an agile workflow.
  • Collaborate with development teams and communicate testing updates directly to clients.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of proven experience in a QA role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in manual testing for both mobile and web platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing (e.g., Postman) and database testing (SQL).
  • Proficient in creating and managing test cases.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Strong client communication and collaboration skills.
