Role Description

We are looking for a skilled Manual Quality Assurance Tester to join our team in Lahore. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manual testing processes, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and ensure they are resolved.
• Collaborate with software developers and project teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain unaffected by new updates.
• Ensure the software meets functional, performance, usability, and security requirements.
• Provide comprehensive test result documentation and reporting to stakeholders.
• Work closely with the development team to perform root cause analysis of identified issues.
• Participate in Agile development processes, such as sprint planning and daily stand-ups.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Manual Quality Assurance Tester.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes.
• Experience in creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
• Solid skills in documenting test cases, defect reports, and overall testing activities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
• Understanding of web and mobile application architecture and technology.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with automated testing tools (optional, but a plus).
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile development practices.
