Job Identification

We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to be part of our Accounting team in Faisalabad.

What We Expect
  • Ensure implementing controls and SOPs in true letter and spirit to safeguard company's assets and inventories.
  • Conduct Daily/Weekly & Monthly Stock Counts of Finished Goods, Raw Materials, and Stores & Spares, comparing stock count numbers with system reports. Identify differences, resolve issues, and report to Line Manager & Territory Supply Chain Leadership Team.
  • Post Inventory adjustments in system after physical verification and approval, as per Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Conduct physical verification of all Fixed Assets according to Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Identify differences with Fixed Asset register, report to supervisor, ensure all assets are properly tagged, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support in preparing Insurance Claims, coordinate with surveyors, and follow-up for settlement.
  • Maintain records of insurance claims and ensure effective Gate Operations and Controls.
  • Perform periodic/surprise checks of haulage/sales vehicles.
  • Maintain gate movement records, follow-up on returnable gate passes, and report abnormalities.
  • Reconcile Gate/RS/Shipping reports and follow up on discrepancies.
  • Finalize Duty Roster for Gate Staff, ensuring compliance with labor laws.
  • Monitor Scrap Sale process, identify improvements, and ensure compliance with Scrap SOP.
  • Verify scrap gate passes, ensure collection of proceeds, and conduct surprise checks.
  • Assist in internal and external audits and ensure implementation of corrective actions.
  • Ensure timely capitalization of fixed assets, updates in registers, and coordination with supply chain for monthly postings.
