The Manager, Projects will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, playing a critical role in driving digital transformation initiatives, cloud application migration and modernization, and solution optimization. This position will focus on supporting cloud-based applications, evaluating new solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize systems that drive operational efficiency, support data-driven decision-making, and align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison with vendors and external partners, managing the contract lifecycle, scope of work, deliverables, and service-level agreements (SLA).
- Negotiate with vendors to ensure that solutions meet business needs, are cost-effective, and are delivered on time.
- Maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, alignment on goals, and transparency in project progress.
- Lead discussions on business requirements, analyze operational challenges, and design innovative technical solutions that drive efficiency and streamline business processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and recommend new technologies to meet evolving business needs.
- Evaluate new cloud-based solutions and technologies to support digital transformation and application modernization initiatives.
- Assess the feasibility of new tools, platforms, and technologies in addressing business needs, and provide recommendations for implementation.
- Work with vendors and external partners to identify new solutions that can improve business operations, reduce costs, or enhance capabilities.
- Design scalable and efficient solutions that meet business objectives and integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
- Drive the modernization of existing applications, ensuring they are optimized for cloud environments and aligned with organizational strategies.
- Identify areas for system improvements, assisting teams with the re-platforming or redesign of legacy applications.
Required Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
- At least 8-10 years of professional experience.
- Strong ability to manage timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring projects stay on track and within scope.
- Ability to evaluate technical options, resolve issues, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Team player with a strong focus on collaboration, building relationships across teams and with external partners.
- Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical concepts to business stakeholders and vice versa.
