Overview

Senior technology leader responsible for leading the Next-Generation technology stack for ACS, establishing and managing the enterprise architecture framework, and driving IT governance, team leadership, project and change management, integration, performance monitoring, and resource planning across Pakistan's PSW ecosystem and major airports handling commercial cargo operations.

• Lead the Next-Generation technology stack for ACS, ensuring data management and governance are key drivers
• Support the design, development, and implementation of ACS, working with the Digital Transformation Office to create a structured project plan with defined timelines, milestones, and deliverables
• Establish and manage the enterprise architecture framework across business, data, application, technology, infrastructure, and security domains
• Create and enforce technology standards, best practices, and quality assurance mechanisms to ensure system reliability and compliance
• Oversee the implementation of architectural solutions from project inception to go-live, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations
• Identify, hire, and manage a team of technologists for software development and system enhancement
• Develop architectural competencies by mentoring and coaching IT personnel to align with stakeholder expectations
• Monitor team performance, identify skill gaps, and implement training and development programs
• Manage new demands, change requests, and system enhancements with risk documentation and stakeholder communication before sign-off
• Review and improve the change request mechanism in collaboration with stakeholders and oversee its implementation
• Develop a detailed work plan for the system implementation across Pakistan's airports
• Ensure seamless integration between ACS and other applications in the PSW ecosystem; resolve issues on priority
• Coordinate with the Digital Transformation Office, IT, DevOps, and external service providers for data management, hosting, security, and infrastructure
• Develop coordination mechanisms with domain officers to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Track performance indicators, IT budgets, and project status; present reports to senior management and other stakeholders
• Conduct impact assessments related to PSW, WeBOC, and other relevant applications to optimize system efficiency
• Identify resource requirements, estimate budgets, and plan resource allocation for system design, development, and implementation

• Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or Software Development
• At least 14 years of progressively responsible technology leadership experience, including 7 years at an executive level in a similar organization
• Prior experience as a Senior Technologist in a multinational company or large-scale public/private sector enterprise preferred
• Proven experience in leading major ICT transformation programs
• Strong ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders to build relationships
• Expertise in solution architecture, including Kubernetes, JSON, APIs, Microservices, Blockchain, and Artificial Intelligence
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) with relevant certifications preferred
• Professional IT certifications such as COBIT, ITIL, or equivalent are a plus
• Hands-on experience with web system architecture, design, and development; complex project management
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
