What You'll Be Doing

• Conduct in-depth research across macro, sector, company earnings, and digital assets.
• Contribute to Lumida's newsletter and research publications with timely, thoughtful insights.
• Build and maintain robust chartbooks for macro, crypto, and sector-specific investment themes.
• Stay current with global markets and synthesize research into actionable investment ideas.
• Digest research across sell-side/buy-side sources, company calls, protocols, and podcasts to produce insightful notes.
• Track and monitor thematic equity baskets (e.g., meme stocks, GLP1s, bitcoin-sensitive equities) and generate a compelling daily narrative.
• Suggest sector/factor exposure adjustments based on portfolio positioning.
• Support trade execution with slippage and order analysis.
• Review portfolios for tax-loss harvesting and help implement strategies.
• Uphold a culture of discipline, ownership, and performance in every aspect of your work.

What We're Looking For

• A research-first mindset with the ability to connect macro trends to investment ideas.
• Strong writing and presentation skills—able to articulate complex ideas clearly.
• A team player who can also operate independently.
• Familiarity with tools like GPT, Koyfin, Google Sheets, Trading View, and others.
• Someone who takes initiative, is proactive about learning, and constantly pushes to improve.
• Passionate about both traditional and digital asset markets.

Minimum Qualifications

• CFA Charter or in progress
• 3+ years of experience in a professional, finance-related role
• Strong background in finance, economics, engineering, or a quantitative field
• Exceptional analytical and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to operate in high-performance, high-accountability environments
