The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join the Jonas Corporate Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and work closely on the month-end close (including intercompany) and consolidation processes.

Responsibilities
As a key member of our Finance team, you will:

• Assist with monthly closing activities, ensuring accuracy and deadlines, including recording financial transactions and preparing journal entries.
• Handle system-related tasks in GP and BPC, and liaise with transactional teams to resolve issues.
• Manage intercompany processes: identify differences, coordinate with finance teams, prepare journals, invoicing, and settlements.
• Prepare internal financial statements for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting in accordance with IFRS.
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations, disclosure templates, and audit support.
• Participate in process improvement projects, including automation of reports and tools.

Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, with a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, and professional qualification preferred. Knowledge of multi-currency transactions, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with GP are assets. Strong communication, organizational skills, and high attention to detail are essential.
