Product Marketing Manager, Loans & Digital Strategy (Mashreq Global Network Pakistan)

Reporting to Senior Manager – Product Marketing, the appointee will support the overall marketing & budget for Personal Loans, Mortgages, Digital Strategic Partnerships, FX & Mashreq Millionaire; develop & deliver business marketing campaigns, and leverage all marketing aspects such as Digital, Offline, PR & Research to achieve significant results.

Location: Karachi Division, Sindh, Pakistan

Key responsibilities
  • Partner with the products team and Senior Manager - Product Marketing to build an annual and quarterly marketing strategy aligned with business objectives and budget.
  • Create comprehensive 360-degree plans for campaigns across offline and digital channels.
  • Develop & execute NTB (New To Bank) & ETB (Existing To Bank) campaigns end-to-end from creative development to media planning, rollout, tracking and optimization.
  • Track campaign results and conduct analysis to derive learnings for improvements.
  • Monitor competitor activities and craft suitable marketing responses.
  • Manage assigned budgets, vendor accruals & payments in line with Finance policies.
  • Ensure required permits for marketing promotions are in place.
  • Review, revamp and optimize product journey content and customer communication templates to meet brand guidelines.
  • Develop digital marketing strategy by identifying customer needs, tracking market changes, and monitoring competition.
  • Plan and execute media plans across social media, web, SEO/SEM, display advertising, and database marketing.
  • Measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and achieve defined month-on-month KPIs.
  • Identify trends and insights, optimizing media plans, spend, creatives and performance accordingly.
  • Identify critical conversion points and drop-off points, and collaborate with Product, Technology & Digital Studio to optimize user funnels.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Mandatory experience in Digital Marketing.
  • Strong expertise in banking products marketing with a proven track record.
  • Deep understanding of business dynamics, profitability and growth drivers.
  • Entrepreneurial with strong drive to succeed, commitment and result orientation.
  • Creative thinker with strong ideation, good people communication and relentless execution with attention to detail.
  • Ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to leverage external agencies & alliance partners to deliver outstanding campaigns.
  • Proven track record in conceptualizing, developing and executing digital marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to conceptualize, review and revise marketing content; copywriting skills would be a plus.
