Part-Time Database Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis in Karachi. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's databases, ensuring their security, availability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and configure database software
  • Monitor database performance and optimize as needed
  • Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions
  • Implement backup and recovery plans to ensure data integrity
  • Create and maintain database documentation
  • Collaborate with the development team to design efficient database structures
  • Ensure data security by implementing access controls and regular audits
  • Stay updated with the latest database technologies and trends
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Database Administrator
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, MySQL, Oracle, or other database management systems
  • Experience with database security protocols and disaster recovery strategies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Salary:

We offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month for this part-time position.

Location:

This position is based in Karachi, but remote work options can be considered for exceptional candidates.
