Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced
Senior Database Administrator (DBA)
to manage, optimize, and secure our database systems across Oracle, SQL Server, and cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure). The role involves end-to-end database administration, performance tuning, high availability, backup and recovery, and collaboration with vendors on outsourced projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, install, configure, and maintain Oracle & SQL Server databases (including RAC Cluster and multi-tier environments).
  • Manage cloud databases (Oracle OCI, AWS, MS Azure).
  • Perform EBS database installation, configuration, and cloning.
  • Ensure database security, encryption, compliance, and disaster recovery.
  • Handle backup and recovery (disk & tape) for production and UAT servers.
  • Monitor databases using Oracle OEM and optimize performance.
  • Provide troubleshooting, problem resolution, and capacity planning.
  • Manage database upgrades, migrations, and documentation.
  • Coordinate tasks and work closely with vendors on outsourced projects.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior DBA (Oracle & SQL Server).
  • Expertise in RAC, standby databases, and disaster recovery.
  • Strong knowledge of database security and compliance (TDE, encryption).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud databases (OCI, AWS, Azure).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
