Job Title: Credentialing Specialist (Full-Time)

Location: Onsite / Night Shift (U.S. hours)

Department: Credentialing - BITCARE

Timings: 06:00 PM till 3:00 AM Monday to Friday

About the Role:

BITCARE LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Credentialing Specialist to join our growing team. As a Credentialing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the credentialing and re-credentialing processes for healthcare providers across various payers and states. Your role is critical in ensuring providers are accurately enrolled and maintain active status with insurance companies, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and complete credentialing and re-credentialing applications for healthcare providers
  • Maintain up-to-date provider data in internal databases and payer portals
  • Monitor expirations of licenses, certifications, and other required documents
  • Update and maintain CAQH, PECOS, NPPES, and payer-specific systems
  • Liaise with insurance payers to verify application statuses and resolve any issues or delays
  • Communicate with providers to collect necessary documents and provide status updates
  • Prepare and submit all documentation required for timely and accurate credentialing
  • Ensure compliance with all payer, federal, and state requirements
  • Generate and maintain regular status reports for internal and client use
  • Support audits and documentation reviews when needed
Required Qualifications:
  • 1–2 years of experience in healthcare provider credentialing (U.S. market)
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, CAQH, PECOS, and major commercial insurance platforms
  • Strong understanding of the credentialing lifecycle and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills (verbal and written)
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple credentialing files simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in U.S. time zones (night shift if based outside the U.S.)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in multi-state credentialing
  • Familiarity with medical billing or revenue cycle management
  • Prior experience using credentialing software or payer portals
