We are seeking an exceptional Lead Full Stack Developer to take complete ownership of the application's technical architecture, development, and operational excellence. This is not a typical developer role; you will be the cornerstone of our engineering team, responsible for scaling a real-time, high-availability system that processes critical geospatial data for thousands of users.

The ideal candidate is a master of location-based services with a non-negotiable, hands-on expertise in DevOps. You must have a proven history of building and managing applications where location accuracy, low-latency notifications, and system reliability are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

· Geospatial & Backend Architecture: Architect and scale the core backend systems responsible for ingesting user location data, performing high-speed geofence lookups against our Dubai parking coordinates, and triggering real-time notifications.

· Full-Stack Development: Lead the end-to-end development of the platform, including the backend APIs, database management, and collaboration on the mobile front-end integration.

· Performance Optimization: Obsessively optimize every layer of the stack for performance, from efficient database queries (PostGIS/geospatial indexes) to minimizing mobile battery consumption while maintaining location accuracy.

· DevOps & Scalability: Design, build, and manage a robust CI/CD pipeline for seamless, automated deployments. Containerize all services with Docker and manage orchestration via Kubernetes. You will be solely responsible for ensuring the application's uptime, scalability, and security on a major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

· API Development: Build secure, well-documented, and highly available RESTful APIs for our mobile application.

· Technical Leadership: Serve as the primary technical authority for the project. Mentor future team members and establish a culture of engineering excellence, rigorous testing, and proactive monitoring.

Required Skills and Qualifications

· Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in a senior or lead full-stack development role.

· Mandatory Location-Based Application Mastery: You must provide a portfolio with clear examples of sophisticated location-based applications you have built. Experience with geofencing, mobile location services (iOS Core Location, Android Fused Location Provider), and mapping APIs is essential.

· DevOps Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience building and managing production environments using Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform. This is a mandatory requirement.

· Backend Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Node.js, Python, or Go.

· Database Expertise: Deep experience with PostgreSQL and the PostGIS extension for geospatial queries is highly preferred.

· Cloud Infrastructure: Demonstrable experience deploying and managing scalable infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

· Problem-Solving Mindset: A genuine passion for solving complex engineering challenges and building products that provide tangible user value.
