Inbox Business Technologies is looking for a skilled Networking Engineer to join our talented team. As a Networking Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our organization's network infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a robust and secure network environment to support our business operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network configurations, including routing, switching, and firewall setups
  • Monitor network performance and diagnostics, identifying areas for improvement
  • Troubleshoot network issues and outages, performing root cause analysis and remediation
  • Manage network security measures, ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate various systems and services for optimal network performance
  • Document network configurations, policies, and procedures for ongoing maintenance and training
  • Assist in the evaluation of new technologies and networking solutions
  • Participate in on-call support to address network-related issues after hours as needed

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in networking engineering or a related role
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VPNs
  • Experience with network hardware from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and HP
  • Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices
  • Proficient in network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Wireshark, or similar applications
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex networking issues
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus
