
Customer Support Representative

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Customer Support Specialist to join our team at a leading UK Transport Company. This position involves a mix of customer service and sales duties, where you will handle leads, assist customers with their bookings, and provide exceptional support throughout their transport experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in both customer support and sales, with the ability to manage CRM systems and deliver smooth, high-quality customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Management:
- Track and manage leads generated through customer inquiries on our website.
- Accurately input customer details into the CRM system to ensure proper tracking and follow-up on all leads.
Sales Responsibilities:
- Reach out to leads by phone to convert them into customers by offering customized transport solutions.
- Answer customer inquiries, provide necessary information, and assist with booking arrangements over the phone.
- Close sales and offer ongoing support to ensure customer satisfaction with their bookings.
Customer Support:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers post-booking, ensuring seamless communication throughout their transport journey.
- Resolve any customer issues or concerns related to transport services, providing prompt and effective solutions.
- Assist customers with any changes, cancellations, or questions related to their bookings or trips.
Collaboration and Reporting:
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition from the sales process to post-sales support.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, documenting any issues and ensuring timely resolutions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer support or sales, preferably within the transport or logistics sector.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to engage customers effectively over the phone.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and a proven ability to manage and track leads efficiently.
- A customer-focused approach, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide outstanding service.
