
Accounts Manager

- Guiding & Training subordinates about business activities and maintaining accounts
- Maintaining all financial records of the company (both written & on the computer)
- Keeping a stock record and taking measures to minimize stock loss
- Prepare financial statements every quarter to assist in financial planning
- Preparing Cost Of Goods Manufactured statement
- Prepare monthly report for the management - Keeping track of receivables & payables
- Preparing a delivery note for the goods that are being delivered
- Maintaining files
- Keeping a record of monthly sales tax return
- Assisting external auditors in conducting the audit
- Advising the management of any improvements in the accounting system
For an internship in accounting, a candidate should possess a combination of technical accounting skills, soft skills, and possibly some relevant software proficiency. Here's a list of skills that would be beneficial:
Financial Accounting:
Understanding of basic accounting principles, including debits and credits, journal entries, financial statements preparation (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement), and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Microsoft Excel:
Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create spreadsheets, perform calculations, use formulas and functions (such as SUM, IF, VLOOKUP), and analyze data using pivot tables and charts.

Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, discrepancies, and anomalies, and draw meaningful conclusions from the analysis.
