  • Define and execute the strategy for deposit products and propositions aligned with Bank's strategy
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings to have product innovation
  • Develop new deposit products or enhance existing ones to improve customer value and profitability
  • Monitor and manage product-level profitability, including margins and fee income
  • Prepare financial forecasts and performance analyses to optimize pricing strategies and interest/profit rate structures

Customer Experience & Engagement

  • Ensure deposit products meet customer needs and deliver a seamless experience
  • Collaborate with marketing and customer service teams to promote products and gather feedback
  • Address customer complaints and satisfaction metrics

Enhance Customer Value Proposition (CVP)

  • Design and refine CVPs for different customer segments through product bundling
  • Benchmark against competitors to ensure the bank's offerings are differentiated and relevant.
  • Align product features, pricing, and service with the defined CVP
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to communicate the CVP effectively
  • Cross Squad collaboration to deliver CVP for the segment

Risk & Compliance Oversight

  • Ensure deposit products comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Manage operational, financial, and model risks associated with deposit products

Market & Competitive Analysis

  • Conduct ongoing research to benchmark against competitors.
  • Adjust product features or pricing in response to market shifts

Key Result Areas

Launch of Segmental CVPs

  • Launch Retailers, Freelancers, Schools, Software house, Agri, Women entrepreneurs CVPs
  • Ownership of liability products to support sub segmental CVPs

Driving customer growth through engagement

  • Handhold consumer journey from acquisition to retention and growth
  • Develop and execute lifecycle strategies to increase engagement, stickiness and extend customer lifetime value through loyalty programs, behavior driving tactical campaign, community banking
  • Monitor customer behavior and usage patterns to trigger timely interventions with timely upsell and win-back campaigns
  • Collaborate with analytics to develop segmental propensity models around attrition and deepening
  • Roll out rules for automating personalize lifecycle communications
  • Data-driven decision-making: Use analytics to inform strategies and measure impact

Cross-Sell Strategy and Deepening

  • Enhance PPC engaging customers to adopt additional products such as booking, payroll, saving spaces, lending etc
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities using data analytics and customer insights
  • Develop bundled offerings or incentives to encourage multi-product adoption
  • Ensure effective digital cross-selling as per the customer behavior and needs
  • Track cross-sell performance metrics and optimize campaigns based on results
  • Ensure a seamless digital experience for new products crossell

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with IT, operations, compliance, legal, and marketing to launch and maintain products.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement product changes or new initiatives

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field. An MBA or other relevant postgraduate degree is preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of product, portfolio and lifecycle management
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with external partners and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital banking trends, technologies, and customer behaviors
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability
