iSoftStone is seeking a Resident Project Manager to join our team in Pakistan

Core Positioning:

Responsible for the full-process implementation of local projects in Pakistan, solving on-site problems, and ensuring project progress.

Core Competencies:

  • Having more than 3 years of on-site management experience in large-scale hardware projects (such as computers, electronic equipment) and being familiar with the execution logic of cross-border projects;
  • Proficient in Pakistan's customs clearance procedures, bank negotiation rules (such as LC operations), and government approval processes (including local policies and regulations), and able to independently handle unexpected problems (such as customs clearance delays, document discrepancies, etc.);
  • Possessing strong communication and coordination skills, being able to efficiently interface with local partners, government departments, logistics providers, etc., and having cross-cultural communication experience (proficiency in Urdu is a plus);
  • Having strong pressure resistance, being able to adapt to long-term overseas assignments (1 year), and accepting high-frequency overtime work and response to unexpected problems.

Key Skills:

  • Skilled in using project management tools (such as Project, Jira), able to formulate detailed local execution plans and track their implementation;
  • Basic business capabilities: Understand PO clauses and delivery acceptance standards, and be able to synchronize requirements with the back-end business team;
  • Emergency handling capabilities: In the face of sudden situations such as logistics interruptions and policy changes, can quickly put forward solutions.

Soft Requirements:

  • Fluent in English (working language);
  • Strong sense of responsibility, result-oriented, and with independent decision-making ability (able to handle routine problems without frequent requests for instructions).
