We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

  1. Build and sustain trusting relationships with internal customers by consistently delivering value added consultancy services with accurate, timely and insightful information.
  2. Plan and ensure all stakeholders are well informed and ready to support the implementation of projects to maximize the business benefits. Support smooth transition from current state to future state.
  3. Act as an expert across multiple projects or programmes simultaneously, guiding teams on requirements gathering, design, change, or implementation approach. Conduct business research and analysis tasks related to programme or project scope as needed.
  4. Define, shape, and recommend creative solution options, weighing risk and reward.
  5. Coordinate requirements gathering, documentation, prioritisation, and traceability, working with multiple programme teams and senior stakeholders. Break down requirements into detailed specifications and translate business needs for delivery teams.
  6. Challenge requirements and design detailed, innovative business solutions to meet business objectives.
  7. Support the assessment of current operating models and translate strategy into target models, considering impacts on customers, products/services, organisation, people, processes, technology, and other factors. Assist in re-engineering processes and provide guidance on process design, considering risks and costs.
  8. Serve as a subject matter expert providing consultancy services and project management on change initiatives with an open and innovative mindset.
  9. Lead change implementation activities, guiding the team and updating stakeholders regularly.
  10. Manage the change journey end-to-end and validate mitigation plans.
  11. Oversee changes through the change control process, challenging scope changes, budget overruns, and potential slippage.
  12. Identify risks and issues, assess their impact on the programme schedule and benefits, and ensure resolution within agreed timescales.
  13. Support a culture of achievement by removing barriers to success.
  14. Prioritize project decisions and actions based on customer needs and promote this mindset within the team.
  15. Identify potential negative impacts of initiatives and implement mitigating actions.
