We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with expertise in both manual and automated testing of mobile apps, web applications, and other digital platforms. The ideal candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions across diverse client projects in a dynamic IT consulting environment. You will be responsible for defining test strategies, executing test cases, writing automation scripts, and ensuring software meets functional and non-functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications (iOS/Android).
  • Build and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API testing using tools like Selenium, Appium, Postman, or Playwright.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and business teams to define and refine testing requirements.
  • Log and track bugs using issue tracking tools like JIRA, ensuring clear documentation and communication.
  • Set up and maintain test automation frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI).
  • Conduct API testing and validation using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
  • Maintain test data and test environments to support continuous testing.
  • Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in QA roles, with hands-on testing of web and mobile apps.
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing tools and processes.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and bug lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Postman, or Rest Assured.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
