As part of the Dubizzle Group, which owns Zameen.com, OLX Pakistan, dubizzle.com, Bayut.com, and Drive Arabia, we aim to make Karachi one of our leading global tech hubs.

We are looking for a QA Manager responsible for the overall quality of the dubizzle.com web and backend platforms. Your role will be to maintain and enhance the quality of existing features and new releases. You will collaborate with engineering and product teams, as well as a team of automation and manual QA engineers, to achieve our quality objectives.Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the quality of the platform, including both functional and non-functional aspects.
  2. Develop and monitor QA metrics to measure the platform's overall quality.
  3. Define and update quality standards in collaboration with engineering teams.
  4. Promote QA best practices across development teams.
  5. Establish the automation and manual QA strategies and roadmaps.
Quality Management
  1. Identify improvements in QA processes proactively.
  2. Participate in key project phases: requirements analysis, test planning, execution, and reporting.
  3. Ensure features are testable and achieve comprehensive test coverage through manual and automated testing.
  4. Oversee test planning and case design, review quality issues, and propose solutions to prevent recurrence.
  5. Select and maintain QA tools and technologies.
Team Management
  1. Lead a team of automation and manual QA engineers to implement the quality strategy and roadmap.
  2. Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback through 1-1s and reviews.
  3. Support the growth of team members' technical skills in manual and automation testing.
Minimum Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in software testing for web apps, mobile apps, and web services.
  • 3+ years of experience managing a team.
  • Experience setting up and maintaining Continuous Integration (CI) systems, preferably Github Actions.
  • Experience using Playwright with TypeScript.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to deliver projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on impact, feasibility, and resources.
  • Motivational skills to lead and inspire a team.
  • High problem-solving ability and sound judgment.
  • A driven, curious, and creative mindset.
