This is an individual contributor (IC) role focused primarily on our customer app, where you'll drive initiatives that improve user experience, increase conversion, and unlock new growth. You'll also own the evolution of our payments system as well as all of our system integrations with Careem, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and adaptable to support a rapidly evolving set of business use cases.

You will:

  • Lead feature development from discovery to delivery in collaboration with your squad (60%+ of your time will be spent hands-on with your team).
  • Work closely with our finance, operations, growth, and engineering teams to bring ideas to life.
  • Collaborate with Careem, our strategic partner, to align roadmaps and deliver best-in-class integrated experiences inside their super app.
Your responsibilities:

Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for Swapp's customer app, integrations with Careem and payments systems.

Deeply understand our users—through data, research, and empathy—and turn that understanding into delightful, high-converting user experiences.

Own end-to-end product development: discovery, requirements, delivery, testing, launch, and iteration.

Improve app flows, speed, and usability to reduce friction, boost conversion, and increase user satisfaction.

Define and track success metrics, using insights to continuously improve product performance.

Strengthen Swapp's payments platform by ensuring coverage of all business use cases, handling edge cases (e.g., Salik tolls, fines), and enforcing clear payment flows and safeguards.

Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, customer support, finance, and marketing teams to build and ship features efficiently.

Manage stakeholder relationships with Careem and other external partners, aligning timelines and integrating systems or features when needed.

Advocate for clean, modular systems that scale with the business and empower future product development.

RequirementsYour expertise:

5 years of product management experience in a tech company, ideally in consumer apps, marketplaces, or mobility services.

Strong track record of owning high-impact initiatives from concept to launch and iteration.

Experience working on conversion funnels, mobile UX, and/or payments infrastructure.

Proficient in structured problem-solving, data analysis, and roadmap planning.

Comfortable working hands-on with engineering and design, with a bias for action.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially with external partners.

Outcome-oriented: you define success clearly and work backwards to ship.

Self-starter, proactive, and able to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Deep understanding of product management principles, methodologies, and best practices

We work on a hybrid model with a significant chunk of the time spent in the office. However, we fully support remote days for focused work. Our office is in Islamabad, Pakistan. Don't be discouraged if you are not in Islamabad - we are always open to finding a way to make it work with the right candidate.
