**Head of Product Development Position Overview:**

  • We are seeking an experienced Head of Product Development to lead the design, development, and launch of innovative banking products and services.

**Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive product development strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in designing and launching new banking products, driving innovation, and differentiation to improve market share, customer acquisition, and profitability.
  • Oversee end-to-end management of all banking products from ideation to rollout and post-launch analysis.
  • Monitor product performance and profitability, refine or sunset underperforming products in a structured manner.
  • Ensure timely updates and improvements to existing products in response to customer feedback, market trends, and regulatory changes.
  • Lead market research, customer insights analysis, and competitor benchmarking to inform product design and positioning.
  • Ensure all products are developed with a clear value proposition addressing identified customer pain points.
  • Comply with local regulatory requirements (e.g., SBP guidelines) and internal risk frameworks.
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and risk teams to identify and mitigate product-related risks.
  • Design products that are tech-enabled and digitally scalable, working closely with IT and digital banking teams.
  • Foster agility in product delivery using modern methodologies (e.g., Agile, Design Thinking, DevOps).
  • Build and lead a high-performing product development team, mentoring, coaching, and upskilling talent as needed.
  • Engage internal stakeholders for alignment and readiness across all product initiatives.
  • Define key product KPIs and track performance metrics including profitability, uptake, NPS, and customer retention.
  • Present regular updates and strategic recommendations to senior management.

**Requirements:**

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in product management or development within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Proficient at using MS Office.
  • Digital & Technical Understanding.
  • Product Lifecycle Management.
