In this role, you will need to understand the business needs of internal stakeholders, solve their problems using data, and be highly analytical to translate data into business insights. In this role, your goals will be: In three months:
  • Gain knowledge of media and related content.
  • Understand client requirements and portfolios.
In six months:
  • Work with data tools to provide strategic solutions.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers within the pipeline.
In 12 months:
  • Develop in-depth technical knowledge of data and analytics tools to add value in meeting business goals.
  • Establish good communication with internal stakeholders.
What your day job looks like at EssenceMediacom:
  • Generate accurate monthly reports on time.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret media trends.
  • Consolidate media investment and GRPs data.
  • Acquire data from secondary sources and maintain databases.
  • Perform post-analysis of categories and provide insights.
  • Collaborate with vendor partners on data delivery and usage.
What you'll bring:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong numerical skills and ability to transform raw data into information.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Kantar Infosys is a plus.
  • Strong work ethic, initiative, and ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent time management skills, capable of multitasking under pressure.
Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Marketing, or Finance.
  • At least 1 year of experience in media/marketing research and analytics.
