We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented SEO content specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, creating, optimizing, and managing high-quality content that improves organic search rankings, drives targeted traffic, and aligns with overall business goals. You will work closely with SEO strategists, content writers, and developers to ensure best practices are followed across all platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Write, edit, and optimize high-quality content (landing pages, WordPress, etc.) with a focus on organic SEO.
  • Collaborate with content writers and subject matter experts to ensure SEO best practices are implemented throughout content production.
  • Perform on-page SEO tasks, including meta tag creation, internal linking, header structuring, and image optimization.
  • Analyze content performance and make data-driven recommendations for content updates, pruning, or expansion.
  • Monitor website performance and traffic trends using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools.
  • Stay updated with the latest SEO, search engine algorithm changes, and content trends.
  • Optimize existing content for improved visibility and engagement.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand tone, voice, and editorial guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an SEO content writer, SEO strategist, or similar role (2+ years preferred).
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to content creation.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog).
  • Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Webflow).
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to interpret data and make content decisions based on analytics.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
