Product Manager

Overview

We are looking to hire a Product Manager to lead the evolution of a SaaS-based product for one of our key customers while also supporting SlickFlo's broader mission of helping our customers build and scale their own products.

Product Management (Primary Focus)

This is a hands-on role that combines strategic thinking with tactical execution. While we have high-level clarity on the roadmap of the product, our immediate need is someone who can run the Scrum board, manage sprints, and turn strategy into action quickly and effectively.

You will be a self starter and play a broader role in product development, driving sales and marketing efforts, including defining ideal customer profiles (ICPs), leading outbound outreach, setting team direction, and establishing KPIs to grow adoption and revenue.

Project Management for SlickFlo's Customers

Acting as a project manager on select client engagement, coordinating teams, managing schedules, and ensuring successful delivery of customer projects.

Responsibilities

1. Product Strategy & Vision
   • Contribute to and evolve the product vision and strategy aligned with business goals.
   • Develop and maintain the product roadmap, adjusting based on user feedback, analytics, and market trends.
   • Conduct competitive analysis and identify market opportunities for differentiation.
2. Product Ownership & Execution
   • Act as the Product Owner in Agile teams owning and prioritizing the product backlog.
   • Run the Scrum board end-to-end: backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
   • Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure clarity and delivery readiness.
   • Work closely with designers, developers, QA, and stakeholders to deliver high-impact features.
3. Sales, Marketing & Growth
   • Lead and align sales and marketing strategies with product and business goals.
   • Define ideal customer profiles (ICPs) and target segments to guide outreach and lead generation.
   • Drive outbound efforts including cold outreach, demos, and pipeline building to support revenue growth.
   • Set directions for sales and marketing teams by defining clear objectives, KPIs, and performance benchmarks.
   • Collaborate on go-to-market strategies, positioning, and messaging to maximize impact.
   • Develop and execute customer engagement initiatives including onboarding, retention, and upsell strategies.
4. Stakeholder & Customer Engagement
   • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and define success metrics.
   • Engage with customers to understand their challenges and ensure the platform delivers value.
5. Business and Metrics
   • Monitor and analyze product usage metrics, engagement data, sales pipelines, and feedback to drive data-informed decisions.
   • Support business forecasting, pricing strategies, and growth discussions where needed.

Required Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally in a SaaS environment.
• Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership; able to work independently and take initiative to drive results.
• Hands-on expertise running Agile/Scrum teams and managing backlogs and sprints.
• Demonstrated experience in sales and marketing, including defining ICPs, outbound outreach, and driving revenue-focused activities.
• Understanding of sales and marketing tools e.g., HubSpot.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in SaaS product development or B2B sales.
• Certification in Scrum and/or Product Management.
• Understanding of Microsoft tools for scheduling and project management (e.g., Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Excel) and familiarity with other modern PM or collaboration platforms.
