Project Manager at Next Generation Technology Solutions

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Azure Solutions Architect to design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the solutions meet business objectives and align with industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect cloud-based solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
  • Develop detailed architecture blueprints, diagrams, and documentation.
  • Lead the assessment of existing infrastructure and applications, recommending strategies for migration and modernization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define solutions, and deliver technical leadership.
  • Provide guidance on Azure services, best practices, security measures, and cost optimization.
  • Oversee implementation projects, ensuring technical solutions are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary improvements.
  • Conduct proof-of-concepts and technology evaluations to drive innovation.
  • Mentor and train technical team members on Azure technologies and architecture practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Azure Solutions Architect or similar role.
  • Microsoft Azure certification(s), such as AZ-303, AZ-304, AZ-305, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert, strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience with Azure networking, security, identity management, and governance.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools, including ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
  • Hands-on experience migrating workloads to Azure cloud, including hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of interacting effectively with stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of data analytics and data warehousing solutions (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics).
  • Background in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
