The Solution Architect will be a pivotal leader in designing and evolving our HIPAA-compliant automation platform. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare workflows, robust technical architecture principles, and paramount expertise in HIPAA security and privacy rules. You will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring our platform is not only highly functional and scalable but also impeccably secure and compliant with all relevant healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Architectural Design & Strategy:

oDesign end-to-end technical architectures for our healthcare automation platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, performance, and maintainability.

oDefine architectural patterns, principles, and standards that align with industry best practices and our strategic vision.

oSelect and evaluate appropriate technologies, frameworks, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) to meet business and technical requirements, with a strong emphasis on compliance.

· HIPAA Compliance & Security:

oServe as the primary architectural expert for HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules, ensuring all platform components and data flows are compliant.

oDesign and implement robust security controls, including data encryption (at rest and in transit), access controls (RBAC, MFA), audit logging, and incident response mechanisms.

oConduct regular security risk assessments and compliance audits, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing mitigation strategies.

oEnsure all third-party integrations and Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) adhere to HIPAA requirements.

· Requirement Analysis & Translation:

oCollaborate closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and subject matter experts to gather, analyze, and translate complex healthcare business processes and compliance needs into detailed technical specifications and architectural designs.

oPropose innovative automation solutions to optimize workflows and enhance efficiency within a HIPAA-compliant framework.

· Technical Leadership & Governance:

oProvide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional development teams (developers, QA, DevOps) throughout the entire SDLC.

oOversee the implementation of architectural designs, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to quality and security standards.

oCreate and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including diagrams, data flow diagrams (DFDs), and technical specifications.

oStay abreast of the latest trends in healthcare technology, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and automation (e.g., AI/ML in healthcare, IoMT, RPA).

oEvaluate emerging technologies for their potential to enhance our platform while maintaining compliance.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

·Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

·Proven experience (5+ years) as a Solution Architect, with at least 2+ years specifically in healthcare IT or highly regulated environments.

· Deep expertise in HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations, including the Privacy Rule, Security Rule, and Breach Notification Rule.

·Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and its compliance offerings.

·Proficiency in designing secure data architectures, including encryption, access control, audit logging, and data residency considerations.

·Experience with modern architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven architectures, serverless computing, APIs, containerization with Docker/Kubernetes).

·Solid understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform).

·Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

·Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.

Preferred Skills (Plus Points):

·Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, CISSP, CISM).

·Experience with specific healthcare standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).

·Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools and their application in healthcare.

·Familiarity with AI/ML integration in healthcare solutions.
