You should have/be/do:

  1. Assist in defining and implementing overall marketing strategy
  2. Grow and manage the marketing team
  3. Own the PR relationship for Governance
  4. Coordinate and deliver on all Governance communication. This will include a mix of web/email marketing, online advertising, customer newsletters, corporate press releases, and product literature
  5. Manage and execute on all conferences, web presentations, and other customer-facing events
  6. Provide thought leadership in the area of online and web marketing, and how best to grow the business, leveraging current trends and online offerings
  7. Track and evaluate all marketing efforts and recommend future marketing initiatives based on results
  8. Regularly engage and manage external resources to complete goals and objectives where required
Job Specification

You should be a real marketing pro. Working at a startup means having to do a bit of everything and a lot of something. You should have clear metrics of how you have been a superstar in your past roles. No killer numbers means no interview.

  1. Possess strong written skills (Portfolio of past work will be required)
  2. Excel at organizing things
  3. Excel at communication, all forms
  4. Over 2 years of relevant work experience
  5. Proven management and leadership capabilities
  6. Ability to manage multiple projects with adherence to strict timelines and deadlines
  7. Business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification
  8. Ability to travel periodically as required
  9. Master's degree (MBA Marketing)
  10. Expertise in remarketing
  11. Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources
  12. Ability to identify key needs or gaps, and provide leadership to close those gaps
