We are looking for an RF Engineer with expertise in both hardware and software design for high performance RF, microwave, and millimeter wave systems in defense applications.


Responsibilities
  • Developing RF and microwave circuits, including RF front end modules, power amplifiers (PA), low noise amplifiers (LNA), mixers, filters (LC, SAW, cavity, waveguide), and antennas for HF, VHF, UHF, SHF, and EHF (millimeter wave) bands.
  • Designing RF/microwave PCBs with controlled impedance, multilayer stack ups, RF shielding, and thermal management for high power applications.
  • Working with SDR platforms (USRP, BladeRF, LimeSDR, GNURadio) for signal processing, demodulation, and high speed RF communication applications.
  • Designing and optimizing antennas for direction finders, jammers, radar, and UAV based communication systems using HFSS, CST Studio Suite, Keysight ADS, and FEKO.
  • Developing firmware/software for DSP algorithms, modulation/demodulation, and real time spectrum analysis using MATLAB, Python, and FPGA/SoC platforms (Xilinx Zynq, Altera/Intel FPGAs, Texas Instruments DSPs).
  • Designing and optimizing broadband jammers, interference mitigation strategies, and countermeasure technologies for defense applications.
  • Working on high frequency circuits, waveguide structures, phased arrays, beamforming networks, and high power RF front end components.
  • Performing RF, microwave, and mmWave system testing, debugging, and characterization using Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, RF Power Meters, Noise Figure Analyzers, and Phase Noise Testers.

Requirements
  • Hands-on experience in RF/microwave circuit design, high-power RF components, impedance matching, and millimeter wave systems.
  • Deep understanding of modulation techniques (AM, FM, PSK, QAM, OFDM), spectrum analysis, adaptive filtering, and SDR based communication.
  • Proficiency in HFSS, CST, ADS, MATLAB, LTspice, Keysight PathWave, AWR Microwave Office, and COMSOL.
  • Experience with FPGA/DSP based RF processing, real-time embedded systems, and software-defined radio (SDR) development.
  • Knowledge of secure RF communication, military RF protocols, electronic countermeasures (ECM), radar, and EW systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot RF, microwave, and mmWave hardware using advanced RF test equipment.
  • Experience in defense, UAV/drones, radar, satellite communications (SATCOM), electronic warfare, and SDR based communications.
