Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing technical support to site operations, including optimizing manufacturing processes to reduce production costs, scrap, and setup times.
  • Focusing on initiatives that improve productivity, support quality enhancements, and increase throughput and efficiency.
  • Solving process issues related to equipment and product performance.
  • Supporting safety initiatives, programs, and daily safety requirements.
  • Assisting Marketing and Product Development/BO teams during new product communications.
  • Leading cost-out initiatives on specific products to lower costs while maintaining quality, thereby improving margins.
  • Conducting process and equipment evaluations and developing operating parameters.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with reputable vendors and driving facility-wide continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conducting process optimization DOE's to increase line speeds, decrease changeover times, and improve yields.
  • Providing leadership to production teams to foster a motivating environment that meets or exceeds goals related to safety, service, quality, productivity, cost, and inventory control.
  • Collaborating with technical and support teams to resolve problems and develop improved manufacturing and support processes using lean sigma tools.
  • Participating in investigations and implementing corrective action plans.
Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with 2-4 years of experience.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and statistical analysis skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
