Location: Gulberg Greens, Islamabad OR DHA, Karachi | Job Type: Full-time, On-site

Unstuck Labs is seeking a talented and experienced Golang Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable server-side systems and APIs, ensuring seamless integration between the front-end and back-end components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain scalable server-side applications using Go language with frameworks like Gin, FastHttp, etc.
  • Write and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
  • Collaborate with other developers and managers in the team.
  • Work with databases (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services as needed.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them into operations and activities.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer working with Go language.
  • Proficient understanding of databases (both SQL and NoSQL).
  • Experience with API design and development (RESTful services).
  • Familiarity with cloud services on AWS is a plus.
  • Good understanding of Git version control.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Proficient hands-on expertise in using best coding practices, principles, and design patterns is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
  • Experience with writing tests and testing frameworks.
