Codup is seeking a visionary and hands-on Engineering Leader to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing B2B eCommerce platforms. In this role, you'll lead a team of talented engineers to build modern cloud-native solutions, integrating cutting-edge technologies like microservices, DevSecOps, and IaC. You'll play a critical role in shaping our digital commerce ecosystem—ensuring reliability, performance, and seamless integration with enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of highly available, reliable, and scalable cloud platforms specific to B2B commerce needs
  • Implement and manage high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies to ensure business continuity
  • Oversee the integration of middleware, APIs, microservices, and container technologies into our eCommerce ecosystem
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) and ensure security best practices are embedded in all processes
  • Ensure robust observability and traceability mechanisms to proactively troubleshoot production issues
  • Build and direct a cohesive team of internal and external personnel to effectively develop B2B eCommerce solutions
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative culture
  • Manage and develop engineering talent, establishing clear goals and growth paths for team members
  • Drive DevSecOps practices and ensure seamless integration of security within the development lifecycle
  • Oversee the technical design and development of eCommerce platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security to handle high-volume B2B traffic
  • Lead processes for content management, product development, and continuous improvement of the platform
  • Ensure data security and compliance measures are implemented to meet industry and regulatory standards
  • Work closely with sales and account management teams to deliver good quality solutions that enhance customer relationships
  • Coordinate with marketing and sales teams wherever possible

Required Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 5-7 years in leadership roles
  • Proven experience in building and managing PaaS cloud platforms and B2B eCommerce systems
  • Strong background in full-stack cloud engineering, security, and infrastructure as code (IaC)
  • Demonstrated success integrating complex legacy systems with modern eCommerce platforms
  • Experience leading engineering teams through digital transformation initiatives
  • Deep understanding of B2B eCommerce architecture and technologies
  • Expertise in DevSecOps, microservices, containers, and middleware technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of high availability patterns and disaster recovery strategies
  • Strong experience with site reliability engineering (SRE) principles and observability tools
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing and mentoring technical teams

Nice to have
  • Experience with AI, GenAI platforms, and intelligent automation applied to eCommerce use cases
  • Knowledge of eCommerce platforms like Shopify and WooCommerce
  • Understanding of B2B procurement processes and integration requirements
