QualificationsApplications are invited for a temporary (likely to become permanent) teaching position at Government College University, Faisalabad, from Pakistani Nationals. The position offers the usual pay scale plus allowances permissible under the University rules. Candidates must meet the qualifications and experience detailed below:
Position DetailsLecturer (BPS-18) in Fine Arts (Painting) (01 Post)
Minimum QualificationFirst Class Master's Degree under the Annual System and CGPA 3.00/4.00 under the Semester System OR an equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in the relevant field, with no 3rd Division in the academic career, from an HEC-recognized university or institution. The condition of no 3rd division does not apply to candidates holding a higher degree such as M.Phil/Ph.D. or equivalent, with no more than one 3rd division in their academic career. Candidates with a 2nd Division in their Master's Degree but holding a higher degree (M.Phil/Ph.D.) with 18 years of education may also be considered.

Application Instructions- The prescribed application form can be downloaded from the university's website (http://www.gcuf.edu.pk/) and should be submitted with a demand draft of Rs. 700/- in favor of the Treasurer, Government College University, Faisalabad. Applicants requesting the form by post should send a written request with a self-addressed large envelope and Rs. 30/- postage stamps. The completed application must include attested copies of educational testimonials/certificates, I.D. Card, two recent photographs, and an updated Curriculum Vitae.
- Applicants from abroad may submit their applications on plain paper, accompanied by their Curriculum Vitae and attested copies of degrees, testimonials, and experience certificates.
- Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be entertained.
- The University reserves the right to reject any application or not to fill the post without reason.
- Applications must be submitted in triplicate on the prescribed form.
- Candidates already in service must apply through proper channels by the deadline.
- Complete applications should reach the Additional Registrar (Recruitment), Government College University, Faisalabad, by mail no later than 30-09-2013.
- An NTS test will be conducted for the Lecturer posts. The last date for NTS application submission is 10-10-2013.
- Tests for the two Lecturer (Fashion Designing) posts and one Lecturer (Fine Arts - Painting) post will be held on 27-10-2013.
