We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Executive with 0 to 1 year of experience in generating business through Upwork. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of online bidding, proposal writing, and the ability to identify new opportunities in the digital services sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential clients and projects on Upwork and LinkedIn.
  • Generate new business by bidding on Upwork/LinkedIn and submitting proposals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to understand project requirements and craft suitable proposals.
  • Negotiate project terms and pricing with clients to finalize deals.
  • Maintain a database of potential clients and projects, tracking communication and project statuses.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to enhance bidding strategies.

Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of Upwork or other freelancing platforms.
  • Proven track record of closing deals and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the bidding process and proposal writing.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple bids/projects simultaneously.
  • Basic understanding of IT services and digital marketing (preferred).
