To provide strategic financial leadership and ensure robust financial planning, management, reporting, and control to support business growth and operational excellence. The CFO will lead all functions related to financial management, banking, costing, and forecasting, while enabling data-driven decision-making and regulatory compliance across the manufacturing and distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead preparation and finalization of accurate and timely financial statements as per IFRS and local regulations.
  • Supervise budgeting, forecasting, and annual operating plan development in collaboration with all business functions.
  • Ensure timely completion of annual audited accounts by coordinating with external auditors.
  • Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions for LCs, working capital financing, and treasury operations.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with all taxation matters including sales tax, income tax, and regulatory filings.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital requirements, and optimize financial resources to meet operational needs.
  • Design and implement robust costing models to accurately capture standard and actual product costs.
  • Analyze cost variances and recommend efficiency improvements to enhance profitability.
  • Oversee centralization of the accounts department to streamline reporting and standardize financial controls.
  • Ensure timely and systematic financial reporting, including salaries, wages, and utilities analysis.
  • Provide timely, relevant, and accurate financial insights to management across COS, selling, and distribution functions.
  • Support development of business models and tools for improved decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Act as a strategic financial advisor to the CEO, providing input on business planning, risk management, and investment decisions.
  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team; ensure continuous learning, role clarity, and succession planning.
Requirements
  • Qualified CA from a recognized body.
  • 15–20 years of progressive experience in finance, with 8+ years in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong expertise in banking, treasury, costing, taxation, and financial reporting.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and working with external auditors.
  • Solid track record as a financial advisor to CEO/Board, with strong business acumen and decision-support capabilities.
