Job Summary:
AMA Energy is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Technical sales Engineer to drive solar sales growth. The ideal candidate should have strong sales and negotiation skills, a deep understanding of **solar PV solutions, and experience in collaborating with **technical and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Follow up on sales leads and ensure timely response to customer inquiries.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the residential, commercial, and industrial solar sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, EPC contractors, and industry stakeholders.
- Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract finalization.
Sales Strategy & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Assist the Sales Manager in formulating and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
- Work closely with marketing, technical, and project management teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide market insights to the marketing team to optimize lead generation campaigns.
Technical Sales & Proposal Management:
- Collaborate with the technical team to develop accurate and customized solar system proposals.
- Ensure sales presentations include technical feasibility, ROI analysis, and financing options.
- Understand and communicate the technical specifications of solar PV systems, including panel types, inverters, mounting structures, and energy storage solutions.
- Conduct site visits and feasibility studies to assess project requirements.
Market & Competitor Analysis:
- Stay updated with the latest solar industry trends, technologies, and government policies.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to refine sales strategies.
- Identify pricing strategies based on market demand and competition.
Client Negotiation & Relationship Management:
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with clients.
- Address client concerns and provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with financial institutions to offer financing solutions for solar projects.
### Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Renewable Energy, or Engineering.
- 2 years of experience in the solar industry, preferably in sales or business development.
- Proven track record in B2B and B2C solar sales.
Technical & Industry Knowledge:
- Understanding of solar PV system design, net metering, and energy storage solutions.
- Familiarity with solar financing models, including PPA, leasing, and net metering policies.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and proposals.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Excellent managerial and leadership abilities.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address client concerns and sales challenges.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and sales automation tools.
