Responsibility Expectations

Supervision of Installation: Ensure installation as per approved drawings. Confirm cable/conduit route, device, and panel locations are as per approved drawings. Drawing revision number should be final revision.

Supervision of Quality Work: Ensure the laying of cables/conduits and installation of devices meet quality standards during execution. Coordinate with the Quality team for regular audits.

System Knowledge: Installation, testing & commissioning of CCTV, Access, BMS, and Fire alarm Systems in Data Center Projects. Hands-on experience with Data Center Projects is required.

Project Management: Oversee project management, vendor management, and internal team management along with Data Center Project experience.

Coordination with Customer, PMC, Consultant, TP Services: Coordinate for site clearance. Highlight dependencies in site meetings and follow up for clearances. Conduct daily standup coordination meetings with PMC and Customer if dependencies are not cleared after repeated follow-ups.

Subcontractor Management at Site: Ensure subcontractor productivity and manpower requirements at the site align with the project schedule. Timely highlight to PM/AOM for any increase in manpower to meet timelines. Escalate to the next level (ROM/RGM/NOM) if requests are not addressed.

Preparation of Daily & Weekly Project Progress Report: Mandatorily send WPR report to customer/PMC every week, clearly highlighting project progress from the last week and plans for the next week. Clearly highlight site dependencies, if possible in the email body. If project-specific, prepare and send DPR daily.

Preparation of Material Delivery Tracker: Work with the Project Manager for material delivery dates from purchase and update the tracker. Highlight if any delivery impacts project completion timelines.

Material Reconciliation: Maintain PO vs approved design vs ordered quantity vs delivered quantity at the site every 15 days.

EHS Compliance: Ensure JCI EHS practices or project-specific EHS practices are strictly adhered to by subcontractors and engineers.

VO Management: Create VO opportunities, including tender/non-tender/time extension cost escalation. Manage VO of 10-15% of project value.

Invoicing Submission and Certification: Ensure certification of invoices from PMC/Customer within a week of submission.

Site Meetings: Participate in site meetings. Raise alerts for dependencies or clearances that may impact project deliveries. Escalate to the next level of PMC/customer if dependencies are not cleared.

Coordination with Cross-Functional Teams: Coordinate with internal stakeholders like design, SCM, L&D, Quality, and finance to ensure project deliveries are met. Highlight to the next level in the organization if any support is required to ensure project timelines are not hampered.

Testing, Commissioning, and Handing Over: Conduct recommissioning checks before T&C. Seek any technical or resource support from PM in advance. Start preparing O&M, As-built manuals during the pre-commissioning stage.
