Overview

We are looking for a Team Lead to drive the development and delivery of our SaaS product. The ideal candidate will combine technical leadership with project management expertise, ensuring smooth execution of product roadmaps while mentoring the team and maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a cross-functional team (developers, QA, DevOps, etc.) to deliver high-quality SaaS product features on time.
  • Collaborate with founders, product managers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
  • Oversee end-to-end project management, including planning, prioritization, resource allocation, timelines, and risk management.
  • Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and support team members in problem-solving.
  • Monitor project KPIs and ensure timely releases with minimal bugs and downtime.
  • Coordinate with DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and environment stability.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on project status, risks, and dependencies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or team lead role.
  • Proven track record in managing SaaS projects/products.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana, etc.).
  • Excellent understanding of web technologies, APIs, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and CI/CD practices.
  • Hands-on experience with modern tech stacks (e.g., Laravel/Node.js, React/Vue, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
  • Strong people management and mentoring skills.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • Experience scaling SaaS applications in multi-tenant architectures.
  • Familiarity with security best practices, compliance, and data privacy in SaaS.
