Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional HR Generalist to join our team at Ascend Analytics. As a Co-founder & CEO, I am passionate about building an amazing team that delivers game-changing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Own the end-to-end recruitment process, including job descriptions, sourcing candidates, interviews, and onboarding new team members.
  • Employee Experience: Foster an engaging employee experience through events, recognition, and maintaining a positive work culture.
  • Performance Management: Develop performance review processes encouraging growth, accountability, and alignment with Ascend's goals.
  • HR Operations: Handle day-to-day HR tasks, including employee records, payroll processing, and benefits administration.
  • Compliance & Policy Management: Ensure employment law compliance and contribute to creating new policies as we scale.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor for employees, providing guidance on HR issues and conflict resolution.
  • Growth & Development: Identify learning opportunities and coordinate training initiatives to boost team capabilities.
  • Ownership & Innovation: Drive HR projects independently, implementing fresh ideas to enhance our team's experience.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced growth-oriented environment.
  • Proven expertise in recruitment, performance management, and HR operations.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a knack for building trust.
  • High level of ownership and initiative - you don't just identify problems; you solve them.
  • A passion for creating meaningful employee experiences and fostering a positive work culture.
  • Adaptability and resilience - you're comfortable with change and eager to grow with us.
