Position Overview:

This role requires specific experience in dental office management and expertise in Open Dental software. The candidate will manage insurance billing, track unpaid claims, follow up with insurance companies, oversee prior authorizations, and manage accounts receivable while maintaining compliance with dental standards. This role does not involve direct patient interaction but aims to streamline billing and claims processes for efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Patient Support: Support patients with account registration, imaging order management, prior authorization assistance, appointment scheduling, payments, exam preparation guidance, report collection, and escalation of issues.
  • Proactive Case Management: Manage patient queue for timely appointments and follow-ups.
  • Scheduling Coordination: Match patients with imaging providers based on availability and needs.
  • Patient Communication: Provide support via phone, email, and SMS professionally and empathetically.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in care navigation, scheduling, or patient support, preferably in radiology or healthcare
  • 2+ years experience coordinating care across providers
  • 1+ year handling or assisting with prior authorizations
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Proven success in a fast-paced, phone-based service environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills
