Role

We are looking for a Mid-Level WordPress/HTML Developer to develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites while ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness. The role requires expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress theme/plugin customization, along with a strong focus on troubleshooting and website optimization.

Responsibilities

  1. Create provided user interfaces using HTML, CSS, or content management systems.
  2. Participate in project estimation activities when required.
  3. Ensure that HTML/CSS is cross-browser compatible and W3C compliant.
  4. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  5. Integrate HTML/CSS into the frameworks listed in the technical stack of the company.
  6. Have a grasp on the technical stack provided by the company.
  7. Think critically, conduct research, and creatively solve problems.
  8. Communicate clearly with clients, stakeholders, and peers, and collaborate as a team.
  9. Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.

Requirements

  1. 3-4 years of experience in WordPress development.
  2. Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  3. Experience in custom theme and plugin development.
  4. Familiarity with PHP and MySQL for WordPress customization.
  5. Understanding of SEO principles and website performance optimization.
  6. Knowledge of page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg is a plus.
  7. Experience with version control (Git) and deployment processes.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  9. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
